Frequently Asked Questions
What plan should I subscribe to?
Free Plan: Ideal for people who only need to join papers shared with them or jump into calls. You can participate in existing papers, chats, and video sessions, but you cannot create new papers of your own until you upgrade.
Individual Plan: Our standard plan unlocks unlimited paper creation/storage, video calls, and pro tools so you can build as many sessions as needed. It is targeted at single users (tutors, consultants, creators) who want full control over the workspace and don’t need company billing.
Company Plan: Designed for organizations that want to pay for multiple teammates. A company account can add other users or sit behind our API, and usage beyond the base plan appears on a pay-as-you-go invoice at the end of the billing cycle.
What will I be paying for?
The ability to make full use of our online whiteboard Bitpaper. This includes creating unlimited bitpapers (whiteboards), having access to all of its tools and features, having unlimited video calls and using unlimited storage space.
How do payments and billing work?
When you sign up you will be asked to subscribe to a plan.
If you chose one of the paid plans, then you will need to add a credit/debit card to complete your subscription.
All payments will be handled securely by Stripe, one of the largest online payment processors in the world. We do not handle or store your card details as they are inputted securely through encryption into Stripe.
Once you have added a card you will be charged the amount of the plan and your monthly billing cycle will begin. You will be charged the same amount every month on the same day that your subscription started.
Company accounts will pay for their additional PAYG papers/calls at the end of the billing cycle.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Simply hit the Cancel Plan button in the Account section once you are logged in to your account and at the end of the subscription cycle your account will revert to a free account.
If I cancel my subscription will I lose my account and papers?
No. You will not lose access to your saved papers. They will become Read Only at the end of your current billing cycle and will no longer be editable. You will not be able to create new papers once your billing cycle has ended.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription at any time?
Yes. In the Account section, you will be able to cancel, upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, or change your payment card if you are having problems.
